Play With Others
Are you looking to play with others outside of the available multiplayer option inside the game? A huge problem with multiplayer in the game is you never know who you are going to get. You might run into people who will just leave for what seems like no reason, rage quitters, horrible language (among other things), people blaasting music loudly, etc. It can be rare to finish a multiplayer game the way it started.
Discord can be a great way to find groups to play with. Below you will find a list of discord groups that offer a wide varierty of multiplayer, including tournaments and other types of games. It's my experience that multiplayer games setup through these groups avoid all the problems you find in the games multiplayer.

Golf+ Discord
The Golf+ discord is a great place to start. It contains helpful game information, important annoucements, game update information, and much more. It's a great site to begin your Golf+ discord journey. They don't run any tournaments not found in the game, so for those, please check out the other discord groups below.

The OG's
The Outkast Golf Club is probably the largest independent group out there. They offer a wide variety of options including their very own designed Tee Time Bot where you can schedule a tee time for people to join. It's great for ad-hoc multiplayer games.
